Hi there and welcome to our home tour! If you’re here for the first time, wanna be friends? we picked up this 70’s hunk-o-bricks this summer and are slowly but surely making our way through each and every room. Today we’re (obviously) sharing a few Christmas decorations we’ve put together, and will be sharing more throughout the weeks until Christmas gets here!
Alright- here we go! As you walk through the front door you enter our make-shift entry way.
We repurposed a plant stand into a small table, hung a large mirror for last minute make-up checks and painted a garage sale chair with homemade chalk paint. For our decor- a few cozy blankets, pillows, wood (not exactly cozy, but makes you feel cozy!) an easy garland and some strategically placed bulbs and stocking. That’s the stocking that no one wants (what goodness could fit in there) so it got benched to the entry way : )
To your left is our living room. We’re still working on some furniture and accessories in here, but a few pillows from IKEA, another DIY garland and a Christmas tree do the trick!
Our noel sign even made an appearance from last year on our newly repainted vintage ironing board.
If you keep going, you would run into our dining room. This room will be shared in full later, because we’re THIS close to finishing our farmhouse table and I wanted to keep it somewhat of a surprise : ) A few highlights are this easy table decor and adorable printables that are decking our halls walls!
Mosey on through the next room, and you will find yourself in our kitchen. This room has barely been touched (real talk) but we managed to add a little festive flair with a DIY wreath, ribbons to hold Christmas cards (am I the only one who runs to the mailbox this time of year to look for them, yet don’t send them out myself? Fail.) and a cute little centerpiece with wrapped gifts.
Last but not least is the family room! This room is also getting a few updates, so lets just focus on this tree. Isn’t she a beaut? M and I went to a local tree farm last weekend and picked her out of the field? forest? yard? not sure what fits… M chopped and I took pictures- sounds about right : ) She’s 8.5 feet tall and smells amazing! If you’ve ever heard that sentence in any other context then you must have some stores to tell ha…
And a couple pictures of our living room tree at night as well because I absolutely love the glow! Our new DIY ornaments have been holding up great as well- even after Deke the cat has not-so-carefully removed them multiple times.
On your way out don’t miss our new wreath this year that I can’t wait to share about as well! Hope you enjoyed the tour- we hope you come back soon! Especially if you like terrible movies and red wine. We’d be best buds in no time : )

I love that red glitter Noel pillow! Such a pretty tour. Great job! 🙂
It all looks great, but the entryway is my favorite! It’s so inviting!
Looks great! I love all the red, and how there are little touches in so many different spaces. Those printables in the dining room are adorable!
Everything looks awesome! Love your styling and that Noel pillow!
Very pretty! I love the noel pillow too – it seems to be a favorite! Thanks so much for sharing your home with us.
