Farmhouse Fall Home Tour 2015

FARMHOUSE-FALL-TOUR-OF-HOME

Welcome to our fall home tour! We are joining an amazing group of 15 bloggers who are sharing their fall farmhouse tours all week, and today is our turn. So, pour yourself a glass of apple cider and grab a donut (or three) and come on in : )

I have yet to share our painted door, but I just love the red color, and of course it’s perfect for the fall season! More details to come later… The wreath was a find from Marshalls- the neutrals and glitter said “take me home” so into the cart it went : )

The first room that you see when you enter is our living room. I found these pillow covers for $3 (with a 50% off sale! what!) at Hobby Lobby, so the green and neutral color scheme was based off of those.

A few faux leaves against plain white paper make for some easy festive art work. Easy and can be done in all of 30 seconds : )

The wreath was also a simple DIY- I took a wreath form, wrapped a spool of 5″ wide burlap around it, and stuck some faux fall greenery at the top, follow up by a burlap bow. It’s hung with a Command hook so I don’t have to worry about filling any holes in the walls when it comes down!

The next room you’d come to is our dining room. A blanket used as a runner to add some fall warmth, festive touches, and some dried hydrangeas (one of the main reasons we planted them- I love the dried blooms for the fall!) plus plenty of candles were added to bring in a hint of cozy.

Isn’t this little greenhouse cute? It was an IKEA find that I used this spring, but I think it works for fall with all of the candles and pinecones as well!

Last but not least is our family room, where we kept the fall colorful vibes going…

For our mantle, I found these fun candle sticks with a faux wood finish at Michaels during a half off sale. Our mantle is tall and huge and has a tendency to dwarf anything I put on it, but I think these are finally doing the trick!

The branches are another easy DIY anyone could do in just a few minutes- I simply gathered a few branches from our backyard, trimmed some faux fall leaves down and tied them to the branches with twine. And buh-duh-bang-buh-duh-boom you have fall branches!

With that, our tour is a wrap! Be sure to visit the amazing blogs below for some amazing fall goodness, and thanks so much for coming by : )

Your home looks lovely and lots of pretty details with the Fall decor. That was quite the deal on those pretty pillows. The hydrangeas in the pots, and that whole vignette surrounding the shelf is my favourite detail. Thanks for sharing your tour.
