First off, I’m so excited that it’s finally time to share some holiday decor around here! Today’s post is a simple one, but adds a little bit of holiday and color to a space that’s normally left untouched.
While perusing Target, minding my own business, this $9, 6ft strand of berries just hopped on into my cart and said take me home. I’m not one for arguments or confrontation so I happily listened and home we went 🙂
I wasn’t quite sure how I was going to use it, but after staring at a very undecorated kitchen, it was an easy choice. The strand was made out of wire wrapped in paper, so I used wire cutters to cut it into 5 equal sections.
In order to get the wreath shape, all I had to do was bend the metal into a circle, tape the ends together, and move the berries around to get the look I wanted.
You could easily do a smaller or larger wreath depending on what you like, but I found that using just over a foot of material made the perfect sized wreaths for our cabinets!
Now for the hanging part. I didn’t want to do any damage to the actual cabinet door so tiny clear command hooks on the inside of the door made the job quick and painless. They will be easy to remove post-Christmas, and they’re plenty of support for the lightweight wreath.
All that was left to do was find a cute ribbon, tie a loop at one end to hook around the command hook, and tie the other to the wreath depending on how far down you’d like it to hang!
Less than $10 and we have a little holiday cheer in the kitchen 🙂
How do you decorate your kitchen? Any fun and easy crafts you’ve been putting together? Has Target made you come home with any extra holiday decor lately? I feel your pain 🙂
Prost!

This caught my eye because I have white kitchen cabinets and this looks cute and simple. I never thought of doing this and you could do seasonal decorations as well. Thanks for the idea!
Thanks so much Laura! Love the seasonal idea!
